To the contrary.

The paranoid right used every trick in the book against Clinton. A bum real estate deal, Whitewater, turned into a $100 million effort to nail Clinton - and all that came of it was a disclosure of an illicit blowjob. Wow.

They then attacked John Kerry with that Swiftboat nonsense.

Now its Obama's turn and the paranoia and dirty politics returns - with the same Jerome Corsi slinging the mud and feeding the red meat to the rightwingnuts.

See a pattern here?

The American people certainly do.

So Obama hates coal, hates nuclear power and doesn't want to drill for more oil. How in the hell is he going to keep this country going? Oh yeah! Windmills and solar! Yeah, right.

Actually, MJ, Obama has run a very smooth campaign and one far superior to the one conducted by McCain. If anything, a comparison as to how to two campaigns have been conducted is a worthy indicator as to how they'd perform in office.

What I look forward to are what will be competent--not hack-like (as were Bush's)--appointments to both the senior and lower cabinet level positions.

I'm also encouraged that the Federal Courts will become more balanced as Republicans have made appointments here for 28 of the past 40 years (with Clinton's last four years hamstrung). So, realistically, Democrats have had only eight good years in the White House during the past 40. This could be a real indicator as to why things today are so screwed up!

Fare ye well!!!
