Also "A little more regulation here and there" adds up to excessive over time. Yes, but it can also be revised or undone over time. I'm more concerned by Obama's aversion to free trade and his desire to promote unionization. The former is a killer and the latter cannot be easily undone. That's the point, we may not. I agree that there's a risk. And I don't like that risk, either. I've only just started paying attention to what may happen in Congress. You know, with a big enough margin in Congress, mixed government may not be much of an anchor. A veto-proof majority obviates that.
