I think the best chance of a lower low, perhaps a significant chance, will be early in '09, as I think a lot of earnings reports will be hurt, and so the better looking trailing P/E ratios and dividend rates will turn out to be misleading. One thing I'm looking at is the tax receipt trend to determine if the economy is collapsing or not. And if not, keep more irons in the fire when late December rolls around.
