John, I'll admit I'm woefully under-informed as to the details of the pros and cons of grid renovation (and look forward to more information). That said, everything I've read tends to agree with this article. Our grid is woefully overtaxed and in desperate need of restructuring and streamlining. So until I see credible reasons not to do so, I can only concur. Especially since I support the move towards PHEV vehicles. Of course, I want these vehicles fueled by algae/bacterial/fungal bio-fuels, and/or NG... ;0) Hawk
