We voted at 7:45am. 108 of 860 voters in the district had voted already. No lines because we have 3 machines, 860 voters and 13 hours to vote. Took 6 minutes to check in, vote, chat with a neighbor and leave. Everyone should be so lucky.

Steve Jobs and Apple Computer should design a voting machine.

Our districts have those electronic gizmos that, after making your selections you need to 1) leave the touchscreen to press the red VOTE button at the top, then go back to the screen and hit the big green CONFIRM box at the bottom. Totally counter intuitive.

I have a buddy that went to Dayton, OH as an observer, he texted me at 5am to say the lines were huge awaiting the opening of the polls.

The rubber meets the road today for Intrade...

intrade.com

My optimistic prediction of 378 electoral votes for Obama is just beyond the current Intrade prediction...;-)
