This is a risk to hate radio. Because any station that broadcast, say Limbaugh, they'd have to give equal time to someone with contrary views. "Hate radio". Right. Are you including Randi Rhodes and Rachel Maddow in that? The reality is it threatens free speech, wherever it exists. It is simply a method to insure that dissenting voices are not heard. Do you support it? I don't believe you ever answered when I asked before?

"English please." The fairness doctrine was a requirement by the FCC that was eliminated under Reagan. The idea was that since the airwaves were a public good and the broadcasters were given a grant to use, then they had to provide balance when presenting political stuff. This is a risk to hate radio. Because any station that broadcast, say Limbaugh, they'd have to give equal time to someone with contrary views. I know what the fairness doctrine is.....I misread his post and didn't understand what he was asking. That's why I made the English please comment.
