My great hope and expectation is that he he knows that he is now the president of the US and all its people including the 40% who vote for McCain and even INODE.

Michael

With all due respect, if you believe this you have been fooled.

I wish you were right but the reality is that America is voting today to give unprecedented power to an individual about whom we know next to nothing -- other than he has no meaningful track record on which to base expectations. We know he is an extremist liberal and will have the most liberal congress in years, an absolute recipe for disaster.

I hope the tingle up your leg was worth it because the price is high.

Nothing would please me more than to be able to come to this thread and say, "I was wrong about Obama". But the truth is that anyone who has been paying attention can see that his last six months have been spent trying to portray himself as center-right when we know his true underpinnings are more extreme than any president we've had. Ever.

Perhaps Obama will have a realization of his responsibility when he walks into the Oval Office. But you don't even know where his heart is because you bought the lies hook, line & sinker.

michael,

I dont know what the future will bring. I was in there early to vote today and my heart skipped a beat knowing what this vote signifies for this country, all issues and other matters aside.

My hope for the country is a very modest one: That we will get to vote again in 2012 in a meaningful election.

Joe

I don't think its my side you have to worry about.

I dont know what the future will bring. I was in there early to vote today and my heart skipped a beat knowing what this vote signifies for this country, all issues and other matters aside. Now i will do as i said a month ago when i left this thread. I will pray for the next President because as biden said, he will be tested early and often. My great hope and expectation is that he he knows that he is now the president of the US and all its people including the 40% who vote for McCain and even INODE. So i hope you are disappointed on some things Ted, but for the good of the country, you go along with Obama. And same goes for the right. There is no need to continue the politics of hatred that have consumed this nation from 1992 until today. And the choir says Amen.
