The Fairness Doctrine doesn't muzzle anyone. It just demands fair, equal time for reasonable dissenting viewpoints. the two questions related to it are: 1) on whose dime? 2) who decides what "reasonable" is? as much as i dislike fox i don't think it would be (nor should be) ok to force them to balance their "balanced" reporting using their own money. and i have no taste for "moon-landing was fake" and holocaust-denial view points forced on to me either.
