I must have misread what you were asking.

Barr might definitely pull some votes from Chambliss and get some to vote more for the libertarian candidate on the us senate ballot. I haven't had much time to watch TV but there have been several ads(maybe they were mccain ads, I sometimes use the tv as white noise) that talked about not letting the dems have complete control.

I think where Barr might have more of an effect is pulling votes from McCain and maybe Obama might squeak through and win the state.
