Palin is so corrupt. I don't think she can assign herself Stevens' seat but I bet it won't be for lack of trying.

She can't even let the process work itself out properly. She has to interfere and pretend that she isn't just another dirty pol.

Bush is running fast and furiously to hamstring the next President. I suspect the list of pardons is growing by a mile. He can pardon Stevens particularly if he wins.

Cheney and Rove will need a full pardon to cover them for their entire miserable lives.
