DJ US GAS: Futures Rise On Weather Outlook, Storage Expectations

The U.S. Energy Information Administration is expected to report that 24
billion cubic feet
of gas were added to storage during the week ended Oct. 31,
according to the average prediction of 13 analysts and traders in a Dow Jones
Newswires survey.

Reuters: U.S. spot natural gas prices
rose at every price point Wednesday, most for the third
straight day, boosted in some follow through to big gains in
energy futures on Tuesday and amid signs of a seasonal demand
rally ahead of colder weather late this week into next week.

Injection estimates for this week's EIA report ranged from
12 bcf to 50 bcf, with most traders and analysts expecting
stocks to rise by about 25 bcf when weekly data is released
Thursday at about 10:35 a.m. EST, a Reuters survey showed.
Stocks rose an adjusted 45 bcf for the same week in 2007,
while the five-year average build for that week is 31 bcf.
Inventories will start the heating season above 3.4 tcf,
below last year's all-time high of 3.535 tcf, but the second or
third highest on record.

GULF PRODUCTION MONITOR: November 5, 2008 Gulf Production is up to 9.3 Bcf/d today in evening flows. Transco released 6 meter points on the SE lateral today including interconnects with Garden Banks and Manta Ray. Mississippi Canyon, which has posted lower nominations for the last two days, posted 515 MMcf today. Nominations on Garden Banks are at 175 MMcf/d which remains below average pre-hurricane volumes of around 300 MMcf/d. Total deferred Gulf supply since 8/29 is now at 328 Bcf. Flows on Stingray, HIOS and portions of the Venice Gathering system are all still expected to begin early next week.
