And we know that his supporters are very passionate and demanding. We've been through this with softwood lumber.. It just may be a little different this time... 80% of our auto manufacturing goes south for example.. but as we all know US auto sales have gone south themselves.. So what about oil... We can always sell that elsewhere.. (not directed at you) ... Canada already has a lot less to lose at this point.. as our manufacturing base has already been savaged.. masked by the commodity cycle.. I just mentioned in a PM reply that I think Obama will be pragmatic.. not dogmatic.. but I agree he may have a fight on his hands in doing the right things.. Let's hope if he wins which seems likely he has the courage of his own convictions ... I get the feeling he gets it.. but yes that may not be enough.. hoping he can 'be water' The Black Swan
