Trader re: A key issue for cisco is NOT product performance versus second tier vendors, it is the growth in the market! Another key issue for cisco is their ability to expand into the much larger voice infrastructure market as it becomes increasingly digital and packet based. The voice of reason has spoken. As the proverbial 800 lb gorilla of the enterprise networking market, csco's growth is tied directly to the growth rate of the market. There is little that they can do to expand the business faster unless the move into new markets. As long as their traditional market is expanding (which should continue for 5-10 years) the goal should be to avoid losing market share to the second tier manufacturers. Thomas
