Writers of major newspapers have become so discredited by the YouTubing of news stories, it kind of reminds me airplane pilots becoming buss drivers. True, but to a large degree the pilots brought the discrediting on themselves by lurching far away from anything resembling standards or objectivity. You see, those bus drivers, back when they were still airline pilots, deliberately turned off the starboard engines mid-flight, and as a result the plane lurched sharply to the left. The unhappy passengers - who thought they were in for a straight-ahead ride - swore off flying forever. Ticket sales plummeted, pilots and crew were laid off ... and applications for bus drivers spiked. Sad story.
