I don't think so. Look what happen to Shays in CT. He was the last remaining GOPwinger congressman. Only Snowe and Collins of Maine remain as Republican senators. I don't think it would be difficult to get their votes to break a filibuster.

Also, there are heavy things that happen with committee assignments and the like, various pressures for grooming a political career in the future, pork projects ... all kinds of ways to get a vote to break a filibuster.

All in all, everything is very, very promising for the possibility of true change finally taking hold in America.
