damned if I know. the problem is that the scale of the violence is becoming enormous. with law enforcement and defense forces becoming seriously challenged, very few want to fight the narcos. it is that dangerous. without effective security forces, esp. in the north, it is hard to see how a gov't would govern. an army coup I suppose is possible, but the defense crooks already receive such huge bribes it is unlikely they wish to change the status quo. the crash was imo a warning to the prez to back off, the old lead or silver choice. wild.
