This was McCain's race to lose, and he lost it. First of all, he was hung on his own campaign finance petard. McCain lost to the most liberal voting, radical-befriending, least experienced Senator candidate for President in US history. What a miserable loss.

They will come roaring in from the left

There are two consolation prizes here. After 2 years, I think the mid-terms will give us a Republican Congress ala 1994. Second, race-grievance mongering just got a whole lot harder to swallow in America.

The point is Nadine, at this juncture, nobody knows. As I said in another post, I won't be surprised to see Obama to the right of Reid and Pelosi. I suspect he is more responsible than they are.

Yes, we will get a lot of Liberal welfare programs passed. The deficit? "forgeddaboutit!"
