The fact is, the administrations in the past 70-years who advanced the socialist state the greatest were FDR, LBJ, and GWB in that order. The average time between each administration is 25-years, with the shortest being 19 years.

Obama was left with a government in shambles, and that and the business cycle will insure he's a 1-term president.

Perhaps. But you are comparing what actually has happened versus what you think will happen.

The basic ingredient that *must* change is the running Federal deficit, or we will all be feeling Icelandic. And history is clearly on the side of the Democrats for the past 25 years regarding the deficit.
