Same here in Florida. Probably will happen in Texas eventually, that will make it 3 out of the 4 biggest states.

This morning CNN was showing it going down to defeat by about 4% or more. The early results last night had it the other way. What is your source?

I agree. Writing discrimination into the State's Constitution is just wrong.

The campaign against Prop 8 was an example of the worst kind of fear-mongering, financed largely by out-of-state money. It's that kind of thing that makes me believe that right-wing evangelicals, while still being a relatively small constituency, can wield power perniciously when they are focused on specific issues.

I am sure that within ten years or so, another proposition will be placed on the ballot to repeal the constitutional changes made by Proposition 8, and that it will pass.
