I had it as 52.4% - 46.4%

Not a landslide, but a definite mandate.
52% is more than anyone else got in the last few decades - and on a big turnout.

To keep things in perspective it is well to remember the pop vote was 51%--48%. This is a vote for change, but not a wholesale mandate.

Let's not keep it in perspective....it was a tsunami!

Agreed... I'm surprised it wasn't bigger.... OTOH, the remember that the house and Senate are QUITE Democratic now... so from that perspective it's bigger than it appears.

Maybe a 'white' Obama would have won bigger?
