I am a fiscal conservative, who used to be a republican, and I believe my group is the most pissed off about Bush and repubs now- even moreso than the extreme left.
We have a 32 trillion dollar medicare liability upcoming. I thought around 2001 that it might be necessary to spend one trillion dollars to modify healthcare to single payer, so that we could get this liabilty down to maybe 600 billion per year for the US govt and the rest tax shifting (from the private to the public sector).

Instead Bush practically DOUBLED the medicare liability with that drug plan, and created a massive amt of unrelated pork in the face of this expense so we are screwed.

Good riddance Bush.
