David Gergen said someone in Ohio called Palin a "sugar high", a big rush followed by the inevitable crash. I said early on that I think this ends bad for Palin. I still think that she has a long troubled road ahead of her. Going back to Juneau will not be fun.......after having ben lavished in 150,000 worth of dresses. Senate has a couple of interesting challenges; 1) What to do with Stevens 2) What to do with Lieberman Do democrats send McCains lapdog to the woodshed? How can the man who looked like a wart growing out of and attached to McCains back find his way back into the fold - when he isn't really needed? They're not going to be filibuster proof no matter how the remaining seats fall. steve
