I don't know what's OR's problem is......I do know that OR votes exclusively by mail so I suspect counting all the votes is a slow process.

I really don't think elections by mail are a good idea. If you send you ballot early, you do it based on incomplete information.


You don't have to mail it early. They have ballot boxes everywhere......its like dropping off your mail. You can drop your votes off the day of the elections.

And, why should it take more time to count pieces of paper quickly enough? Voting in person, having 100s or 1000s of districts scattered around the state seems like a lot more complex process...

I don't know........I've never worked in elections. It was just a suggestion
