Are you saying religious people and their beliefs are not as worthy of respect as radically subversive but godless liberals?

The point of my post was to highlight the fact Democrats never parse words, or refuse to support their nominee if he doesn't conform perfectly to each group's expectations. Repubs will need to face that reality, and become an all inclusive party, if they want to regain power in 2010 and 2012. I'm not a religious person, but would much rather join their cause than that of the immoral, unprincipalled Left. Democrats replace traditional religion with their equally if not more zealous causes - like Obama's 'fairness' mantra.
