I guess I don't believe (and maybe wrongly so) that any candidate ever intends to hurt or destroy our country. Their views on how to get from point A to point B may or may not jive with our personal beliefs but our system of government (as bad as it seems at times) tends to bring things back to center when we go off too far in one direction. If Obama moves too far to the left the electorate will even things out by taking away some of his power in 2 years. I wasn't surprised last night and I refuse to get all up in arms about it. Things will even themselves out - they always do.
