I heard Gov Pawlenty last night before race was officially over. He sounded like a future leader of the party and in the reform/moderate camp. McCain blew any chance he had when he responded in a confused manner to a national crisis. I got the feeling from Pawlenty that he thought McCain had the wrong advisers and that he (pawlenty) would have been a better choice for veep and with better advisers could have given mccain the opportunity for a response to the crisis that would have given him a chance to win.
