The inspector came out. Susan was her name. Very efficient very detailed and very much in the time frame she set up for the appointment. She told us that she was initially given 50 homes a day to inspect. She did that for a few weeks and found that she was only getting about 4 hours of sleep a night because of having to do the paperwork when she was through for the day with inspections. She apologized for it taking so long to get to us but she can only climb up so many ladders in a day, we told her we certainly understood. She did say she was impressed with what has been done and commended us on not waiting for the insurance money. She said not everyone has the resources to do this and you are one of the fortunate people who can. We told her that well is dry and unless we get the money released, we're looking at having to release the crew if we don't see some money by next week.

She said you have a substantial claim and have gotten 60% of the work completed. She was going to her office, which as luck would have it is local. She was going to fax this over to the mortgage company and request they issue a check asap and get it overnighted to us. She said to follow up on Monday with the mortgage company. She said there's nothing wrong with pestering them for your money. If the shoe were on the other foot, she said, you can bet your bottom dollar they would pester you!
