The deficit will increase under democrat majority because of the banking crisis. Obama will not have the luxury of raising enough capital to pay it off because people will be out of work. Jobs will disappear for small business. Tax revenues will dry up, and govt spending will have to increase to pay for it all.

So.........I don't envy Obama.

Maybe his rich friends will voluntarily contribute to paying down the deficit they are so worried about?

Many Democrats mistakingly believe 'freedom of religion' is equivalent to 'freedom FROM religion'. The founders were emphasizing religious tolerance, not the elimination of any mention of God or the Creator in government documents.
