Perhaps just too much cross-talk for Mike here. I would suggest that
he could choose to post his material to a home page and let everyone read it there, if that is the venue that would be most useful for him. Those wanting to give feedback could then e-mail him their take on the info.
Just an idea. Please forward to Mike for me.
Thanks,
Lee

Mike et al:

It's always a shame to see someone who's trying to spur discussion -- especially when it's for the sake of generating better education and understanding -- driven off, for whatever reason.

As someone in the business who knows more about the technical side than the average person (concerning exploration, at least), but nothing compared to the experts, I'm always thirsty for education and discussion-based groups that can teach me and possibly help me to do better in the communications side of my job. Refining. Basic geology. Geophysics. Deposit descriptions. Mine engineering. Innovations in any of the above. Whatever. Any suggestions, greatly received.

Dennis,

I just want to convey my thanks to Michael for his offerings here, and I understand his decision. I would like to see him establish another fourm for continuance of his offerings. Perhaps he should charge a substantial admission fee to whatever forum he establishes. I will pay.

To anyone that I may have offended here, I submit my apology.

This forum is over, I blame no one. It just happened.

Best Regards to Michael and All!!

Jack
