Exit polls tell you who voted for what and a bit about why. I didn't see "campaign tactics" listed as a question, but the picture I see is voters concerned most about the economy (and not Iraq), where McCain's performance in the economic crisis was considered erratic.

But we see the limits of exit polls. I posted the piece because it was one of the few broad wrap-ups I saw on the topic.
