But how do you explain the Jewish vote in MN? The anti Semitism was mainly during the war. If I remember my MN history correctly, after the war, Hubert Humphrey became mayor of MPLS. I think he was fairly liberal and he remade MPLS into a more liberal city. Remember the second largest ethnic group in the twin cities is made up of Scandinavians who have a tradition of openness and a sense of equality. I think Humphrey must have tapped into their energy. Considering we are living in an Ingmar Bergman movie from day to day. I don't understand what that means.
