That's an excellent question that deserves to be looked at seriously...did not think this aspect.. One can be sure Cameron relayed those then off the record remarks to the top folk, yet we had Hannity et al lying and distorting Obama all day long... Although I've not watched FOX all election, only clips that others post on the blogs and other word of mouth...not for "ideologic" reasons as much as it's so depressing to see/hear that kind of rhetoric, Cameron strikes me as fairly rational?, how could he have remained silent as the polls were supposedly tightening?....or does something happen when they're in that environment 24/7?...

Let's not forget that Palin never had a single formal press conference and never did a Sunday news show program...that in itself should have been the tell... I'm not about trashing her or McCain, per se, on this wonderful day...yet I was literally stunned to hear this and couldn't help but post it here.... And as you point out, at this juncture, it's the press that's the issue...
