If Obama really wanted to unite the country and set a different tone in Washington, he should ask Carl Rove to be a White House Advisor. He is sharp and would give good advice from the right side of the aisle. Of course, he wouldn't take much of it, but hearing the point of view would add to the inner circles wisdom.

Diversity of thought is more important than diversity of skin color. The worst thing he could do is hire a bunch of Clintonista era divisive people. That would set a terrible tone from the outset.
