The top and bottom have representation and the middle doesn't. The difference between them is that the top wants to keep things running and the bottom will run things into the ground. At least the top lets the middle stay afloat, but bottom end politics sinks everybody. * * *

20 years of Republicans If you pay attention to what the regulars write here, you will find a VERY VERY tenuous attachment to the republican party. Criticisms from the left however will be laughed at.

I know that is the way it is but the reality is that Carter started the financial mess with banking changes. That does not excuse anyone's not stopping it, but there it is. Clinton expanded on it, too.

It's been... 28 years since Carter. And it's his fault? Polices can remain in effect long after the president who signed them in to law or ordered them is gone.
