Dale is the center (sort of) and he named the thread.

Like RMF, I am roughly center with a tendency to lean left on some things compared to where the Republican Party has been recently.

But I define the few centrists on the thread as folks who mostly vote Dem but would consider a moderate Republican, and the Republicans who opted for Obama this time around. And one or two who probably voted McCain in the end but went through a careful reasoning process to get there.

Going forward, we'll see how people react to Obama's legislative agenda, appointments and efforts to work across the aisle (or notable failures there).

As you said, this is a forum for different people to interact politely, regardless of their POV.
