Re: AMD has been sleeping on two many fronts, or stretched dangerously thin. Or heading down a dead end at full speed, or a little of each. Or maybe they're about release a slew of wonderful new products. We'll see, but the processor world is getting a lot less interesting. Intel is getting ready to ship what's basically a better executed clone of the 2003 AMD Sledgehammer (using the same re-architected register set, API, and multiple on-die memory controllers). From a rather jaded perspective, in the last 5 years, Intel has cloned AMD's 5 year old design while AMD has done nothing at all.
