Obama made so many promises, one after another. I doubt anyone will remember them.

Nah, everyone will remember them - at least the ones they wanted.

Obama's least remarked talent seems to be the ability to sit down at a table with really smart and powerful men and women, listen to them carefully, and convince them that he is exactly whom they wish him to be. So the moderates think he will be a moderate, and the left wing-nuts know him for one of their own. Can he steer a path between them, mostly moderate (for this is still a centrist country), but throwing enough scraps to the left to keep them off his back? Can he, this man who has never run any administration? TWT indeed.

Let's list a few:

1. No new taxes for any couple making less than $250k (is that AGI?).

2. A tax cut for millions of well off middle class - I think that one is up to $200k. (This is a good one - it got pretty vague towards the end.)

3. A brigade a month from Iraq.

4. On to Afghanistan with his new friends in Europe (wanna bet?).

5. A path to citizenship for millions (who loses on the economic ladder with that one - complete lol).

6. College credits.

7. Some magical health care plan for all.

8. A line by line review of the budget.

9. All new spending paid for.

10. Radical reduction in CO2.
