That's the whole wrong premise Bush started from. A terrorist attack isn't a "battle" and it's not part of a "war". Battles are fought by armies and wars are fought by countries that have them. The military hammer isn't the answer for the stateless terrorist needle.

That said, it is foolish, even today, to view it as a mosquito bite. That you believe this is highly suggestive that you simply don't understand the issues involved. You don't understand bin Laden or AQ, you don't understand the demeanor or technical capability of the ME extremists.

Seventy percent of the country and most of the world disagrees with you. At one point, do you start to realize you might be wrong and reflect on your position?
