Obama Wins North Carolina, AP Projects; Missouri Undecided

By Nadine Elsibai

Nov. 6 (Bloomberg) -- Barack Obama won North Carolina's 15 electoral votes, the Associated Press projected, leaving Missouri as the only state yet to be called in the presidential race.

Obama bested Republican John McCain in a state that has gone Republican in nine of the last 10 elections. With all precincts reporting, Obama got 14,053 votes more than McCain out of about 4.3 million cast.

Obama already had more than the 270 electoral votes needed to win the presidency. With North Carolina, he has 364 electoral votes to McCain's 163.
