I think it's more a fear that they might be stronger than O in the future, not that they were the power behind him at this point. Will he be able to stand up to them and be the more centrist figure he has presented or will be become a tool for the far more liberal side? THe RW is sure he is weak. I do hope he isn't going to be railroaded by a too eager Dem majority. Pelosi's terrible "diplomacy" before the first bailout bill alarmed me, and I didn't care for her to start with.
