"Well, Shorty calls Obama a Muslim and a Marxist. Neither is true. Yet you have kept silent, so I have to assume that you support it.

As irrelevant as your criticism is, you are mistaken again and it appears to be a character flaw of yours to make such false assumptions without even an attempt to gather factual information.

I have stated clearly that I do not think Obama is a Muslim and I have done that on at least one occasion in which longnshort had made such a comment. I am in fact certain that he is not seen as a Muslim by the Muslim community. I would not consider it a negative in any event if he were a Muslim. As for him being a Marxist, I am not even sure what all is implied by that allegation. I have expressed reasons why Obama should be admired on more than one occasion and long before he threw his hat in the ring I stated that I thought he would make an excellent candidate for president. I believe that was on the Souixpal thread just before the pal banned me, without cause ... again.

All of which is irrelevant.

"And that is just to name one individual and two of the smears."

It is completely irrelevant to my demand for tejek to cease and desist wrt Sarah Palen, even if a million people are walking around smearing others, hundreds of times a day ... which is likely even a low ball estimate.

"Volkswagen may be proving that point in coming days. A German magazine is claiming that the auto maker is preparing a small car for 2010 release that would get 117 miles per gallon. At this point, consumers would flock to any vehicle that got 70 MPG -- especially in heavily-taxed Europe and cost-sensitive emerging markets. We'll have to wait and see what VW has to say about this, but it does appear that autos on the market in a few years will make Toyota's (TM) Prius look like a gas hog."
