Bill... I believe you are trying to 'read' too much into what I've said.

What I 'believe' (strictly from the yet undenied press reports) is that the RNC is conducting an official audit of that spending... and that they are sending investigators to Alaska (which is, after all, where the Palins and that clothing/jewelry, etc., may be expected to be found these days...) to verify the expenditures.

(Have you heard anything to the contrary?)
