Tideglider, you are still out there in the Bush republican wilderness.

People who have conservative principles are trying to figure out how to regrow the republican party or go elsewhere to have the concepts of smaller governemtn, fiscal integrity, respect for privacy and other long-standing conservative principles heard again and respected. It can't be done with the current leadership of the Republican party. Sarah Palin, I assure you, won't be an answer. I have posted numerous articles from National Review, the Weekly Standard, the American Conservative and other periodicals on this question about the future of conservatism.

Watch Eric Canton from Virginia and the other House members who are now rebelling agains the old republican guard. They have Blount out now, and I suspect Boehner will follow. McConnel should step down in the Senate. These old pork barrel Bush conservatives can't lead in the years to come.

Open your eyes...there is so much more than the philosophy of George W. Bush and Dick Cheney out there for conservatives to rally around. Hard work ahead, no doubt.
