awww. tho I had heard tale of such things... friends who said not to come back and see what it is now. But I lived in the Tenderloin for a time so I am experienced in its more smelly side. I might not mind too much. Beauty and grime together. But what is that slick young mayor doing? He doesn't wash windows?

I'm sorry to be the one to tell you this but SF is not the sparkling clean city you once knew...

I was shocked, and I mean shocked at the level of dirt, the unwashed/unkept buildings and homes when I returned in 04...depressed me, big time....a friend had prepared me but I was not prepared..

Was there an explanation for why its so dirty?
