Why does everyone make a big deal out of Bobby Jindal? I had never heard of him until the Republicans were trying to find an answer to Obama's meteoric rise. Is it just because he isn't white? Or is he really something special? Sorry to by cynical. Just curious why the big hoopla over Jindal? Afterall, Palin was picked just because she was female, not because she was competent. He's not Palin......unfortunately, he does share her social views. I think he's good for LA because he's got a good grounding in economics and does not appear corrupt. LA politics are noted for their corruption so that's a significant change. Plus, that state needs some serious help economically. As for Palin, I consider her the female version of GW and we need now to be doing everything we can in building a firewall around her. Keep in Alaska so she can keep an eye on Putin. ;-)
