I went to our Sprouts store yesterday, and found that the prices were much more reasonable than Tom Thumb, which is a walk away from us, and is the place I use most, since I tend to not plan well. That surprised me since I had equated organic and natural with high prices. I got several peppers- red, yellow, orange, green all 77cents a piece. going to just saute them up with mushrooms and onions in grapeseed oil tonight. We had ground lambburgers last night with salads. Salmon they had on sale- 8.99 a pound for wild sockeyed- so I got enough for two meals. I really miss my pasta and potatoes, so have decided that one night a week, I will allow myself a meal of pasta OR a baked potato. I never could spell vinag.., vinaigr.., vinigrai.., so I pretend that I am just in a rush, and abbreviate. balsamic vin.
