As Prop 8 shows, San Francisco is increasingly becoming irrelevant.

Not so fast.......SF had really bad turnout Tuesday....around 50%. Now why gays didn't think they needed to get out and vote is beyond me.....assuming gays were responsible for the low turnout. In any case, I suspect another gay marriage proposition will be on the ballot in the not too distant future in CA.

I think so. It is now the Republican Party of American cities.
