I don't get the argument of "intelligent design" taught in school either... I mean there is very well accepted topics covered in all grade school science. If "intelligent design" or something like it ends up being correct, then it will be incorporated into the teaching of evolution eventually. IMHO it's because when their kids come home and say "we are related to Apes" (and mollusks for that matter) the parents feel uncomfy correcting them. :)) You don't see physicists trying to get schools to teach "consciuosness" as a substrate for the unified field, although many believe that it is somehow involved... Interestingly in Eastern philosophy the two above topics are the same in many respects... since your mind isn't separate from the mind of god. DAK
