During today's Obama press conference, the reporters soft ball questions reminded me of a Sat Night Live spoof. One was about the family dog and another asked if he'll spar with GW when they make the traditional WH visit with the outgoing Pres. Why are such shallow, immature personalities attracted to journalism today? Chris Matthews said yesterday that it's his job to make sure the Obama presidency is successful??? How's that for an over-inflated ego, and whatever happened to an independent, unbiased press corps?
