Where do the evangelicals go, a third party effort?

It's a real conundrum. I guess it depends on which issues have the highest priority for a person. My primary reason for voting Democratic is the economy and knowing the Dems would never have led the country into the Iraq war. I also like being in a party that has always worked to assist the poor and disenfranchised....perhaps the noblest of religious values.

But I have to hold my nose at times, knowing there are segments of the party that would champion causes I don't agree with in principle.

Probably none of us fits perfectly in either party.
